Murder Mystery 2 codes used to hand out free knives, and once a pet, to anyone who typed them into the inventory. Nikilis released the game on Roblox in January 2014 and it is still one of the platform's biggest experiences, with more than 30 billion visits, around 24 million favourites and roughly 335,000 players online at a time. The catch is that no code has been released for years. The community wiki lists every past code as discontinued, and every current guide agrees there is nothing to redeem. We check daily and will list any new code the moment Nikilis posts one.

About Murder Mystery 2
Murder Mystery 2 is a round-based social deduction game on Roblox, created by Nikilis and live since January 2014. Each round, up to twelve players are dropped into a map and secretly assigned a role. One player is the Murderer, armed with a knife and tasked with eliminating everyone. One is the Sheriff, the only person with a gun, who has to identify and shoot the Murderer before it is too late. Everyone else is an Innocent: run, hide, watch who goes where, and pick up the Sheriff's dropped gun if they fall so you can become the hero. Rounds last a few minutes, and the tension of not knowing who to trust is the whole appeal.
Outside the rounds, the game is a collecting and trading economy. Knives and guns come in tiers from Common up to Legendary, Godly, Vintage, Ancient and Unique, and are earned from coins collected during rounds, from mystery boxes, from seasonal events and from crafting with salvaged shards. Trading between players is a huge part of the community, with rare Godly and Ancient weapons treated like currency. The game has been updated regularly since launch; the official Roblox page shows its most recent update in early September 2026.
Why there are no codes right now
Codes were a small part of Murder Mystery 2 for a few years. Nikilis posted them on his Twitter account, and a handful came from the YouTuber JD, each unlocking a themed knife such as Reptile, Neon, Prism, or the Pals-themed Alex, Corl, Denis, Sketchy and Sub. The 2017 Halloween code gave a Pumpkin pet and COMB4T2, the Combat II knife, was the last one, released during Season 1. The Murder Mystery 2 Wiki now files every one of those under "Past Codes (Discontinued)" and states there are no working codes. Some aggregator sites still list a few of the old codes as active; they are not. If that changes, it will come from Nikilis on Roblox or his X account, and we will add it here the same day.

Are there any working Murder Mystery 2 codes in September 2026?
No. Every code Nikilis ever released has expired, and the community wiki lists all of them as discontinued. Sites that show a few of the old codes as active are out of date.
When was the last Murder Mystery 2 code released?
COMB4T2, which gave the Combat II knife, was the last code and the only one released during Season 1. Before that, the 2017 Halloween code HW2017 unlocked the Pumpkin pet.
What did Murder Mystery 2 codes give?
Almost all of them unlocked a Common knife with a themed skin, such as Reptile, Neon, Prism, Alex, Corl, Denis or Sketchy. F1RSTC0D3 gave the Uncommon Gifted knife, and HW2017 gave the Pumpkin pet.
Can I still get the code knives?
Only by trading. Players who redeemed the codes still own the knives, and they are traded in the lobby like any other weapon, usually for other Commons or a small amount of value.
