Roblox published its Fall Games Preview on the company newsroom on September 2, 2026. The post, signed by Chief Creator Ecosystem Officer Vlad Loktev, names ten games: six landing in September and four following in October. Several come out of the Jumpstart and Incubator programs, two are from a single studio, and one is a Roblox exclusive. Below is what each game is, who is building it, when Roblox says it ships, and which ones deserve a spot in your queue.
What Roblox actually announced
The newsroom post is a curated list, not a full release calendar. Roblox picked ten games whose genres, mechanics or art styles it wants to showcase: strategy, first-person shooters, racing, role-playing, horror and multiplayer arena games. Release windows are given as early, mid or late September, or simply October. No exact dates are published, so treat every window below as Roblox's own estimate rather than a promise.
Two of the ten come from SuperGaming, the India-based studio behind Showdown. The rest are from small teams, including creators who joined Roblox's Incubator program with a prototype and used it to finish the game.

The six September games
- Showdown: The Showdown Cup (early September), SuperGaming. Showdown is a first-person shooter that mixes precise gunplay with Jutsus, anime-style abilities. The September update is the Showdown Cup, the studio's first in-game tournament, played in a new Esports Arena built into the game's Shibuya-inspired hub. Friends can watch matches live and the winners land on a champions board. Co-founder Roby John says the goal is to produce the first FPS esports stars to come out of Roblox.
- Monster in the Mansion (early September), Ubermonster Productions. A cooperative asymmetrical survival-horror game for teams of up to eight. You enter Doctor Mondo's mansion, survive long enough to find an antidote and cure the doctor. Monsters are randomized each round. CEO Anthony Francisco built the game to keep story and gameplay in lockstep, and there is an official site for the project.
- GOAT Football League (early September), Red Wolves Studios. An Argentina-based team's fast multiplayer football game in which the players are goats competing for the title of The Goat. Head of production and design Federico De Tezanos Pinto says the team chose Roblox for fast prototyping and its built-in multiplayer systems.
- Nemesis (mid-September), RoyalFire Legends. A competitive shooter with both first- and third-person views and movement built around grappling, hoverboards, wall running and seeing through walls. Boston-based creator Ryan McFarland describes it as easy to pick up with a high skill ceiling: jump toward a wall to wall-run, and a slide on landing converts your fall speed into horizontal speed.
- Fossil Force (late September), Nibblebyte. A Jurassic-era player-versus-environment game with directional audio for nearby dinosaurs, biome-specific ambience, and lighting and weather effects. Each biome, from overgrown jungle to icy tundra, has its own native dinosaurs. Project lead Matt J. says it is not a horror game, but you should expect to be startled.
- Caramel (late September), Elbside Studios. A cozy 2D pixel-art farming game where you inherit a farm and build it up. Creator Coyann has been building on Roblox for eight years and wrote custom technology to get true 2D graphics on the platform. Details are on the Elbside Studios site.
The four October games
- Prime Heroes (October), SuperGaming. A team hero shooter that is exclusive to Roblox, set in the studio's original Prime universe. Pick a side, pick a hero, and fight to capture crown sites. Early access begins in September with six playable heroes; 16 are in development and will arrive season by season. SuperGaming's own site covers the studio's wider catalogue.
- Octane (October), Ignition Switch. An open-world racing game from a team led by Michael Loconte, who brought a prototype to the Incubator program. The pitch is a AAA racing look, free, on any device. The physics model is the differentiator: drifting and track interaction are meant to feel real, and you can drive on cliffs, around the track or race other players.
- Starforged (October), Studio Making Fun. An action role-playing game combining tactical combat, a push-your-luck extraction element and deep progression in a sci-fantasy world. Combat starts instantly, everything is upgradable, and charged weapon cores deliver burst damage. CEO John Welch's team also came through the Incubator. It is already playable in early access on the Starforged experience page.
- Scrapbook Saga (October), FadedBFox and Xeycrow. A multiplayer turn-based RPG starring a flat paper character in an arts-and-crafts world. Xeycrow animated the paper characters by hand. Groups of up to four can battle tougher enemies together, with collaborative team attacks.

Which ones to queue up
If you only have time for three, here is the order I would play them.
Showdown first. The newsroom already links to a playable build, the Showdown Cup is a real in-game event with a spectator arena, and SuperGaming is the only studio with two games on this list. If the tournament format works, this becomes the September game to be in.
Starforged second, because you do not have to wait. Early access is open, the extraction loop gives you a reason to come back, and the October release should bring balance changes and more content on top of a game you already know.
Caramel third. Real 2D pixel art on Roblox is rare, and a farming loop is cheap to try. It also fills the gap between two shooters and a horror game in the rest of the list.
Two more worth a follow: Prime Heroes, if you want a hero shooter with a roster that grows every season, and Octane, if the physics claims hold up when it launches. Monster in the Mansion is the pick for groups of six to eight who already play together.
The short version
Six games in September: Showdown's Showdown Cup and Monster in the Mansion and GOAT Football League early in the month, Nemesis mid-month, Fossil Force and Caramel late. Four in October: Prime Heroes, Octane, Starforged and Scrapbook Saga. Play Showdown and Starforged now, try Caramel when it lands, and follow Prime Heroes and Octane for October. Roblox has said more details will come in the weeks ahead as each game goes live.
